The over the top and chaotic against the muted. Which has more of an effect?
aspiration + repetition + product = brand
This is the formula that I have been working within when making my most recent work.
Aspiration - brands have to seem better than they (probably) are
repetition - literally through adverts
product - the face of the brand
The fuss around things
Claiming to be better than it is. Blowing something simple out of proportion. Consumers acceptance of deception.
